Feeray first came to Hong Kong in spring of 2017, on one of several stops on an independent tour across Asia. The wordsmith and producer from Indianapolis made his appearance not at a typical hip-hop club party, but as a special guest at one of Peel Street Poetry's monthly spoken word gatherings.
The live music venue which was at that time Orange Peel was packed wall to wall with a quiet but captivated crowd, whose pronounced appreciation for heightened language was thoroughly satisfied by Feeray's performance, both with and sans instrumentals.
In 2019 the serial globetrotter set his passport down for a minute to spend some extra time in the lab. The result: 17 solid tracks curated into the conscious rap record dubbed More Than Enough.
A collection of high-energy, Trump-era commentaries that occasionally ruminate about the prevalence of familiar yet unsavory circumstances in the supposedly woke age, More Than Enough is a testament to the excellence of Indy's Indie scene and a boon to the Midwest sound in general.
Progressive and motivational, the album is fortified with the participation of artists 773hustle, Baby Ebony, Christian Taelor, Double A, Fox D'legend, Pernell from Pike, Pope Adrian Bless, Sonny Paradise, Willie Dynamite, Woogie, and Wxlf.
